Now that I work in the Pawtucket area I want to find the good local joints. This is my first discovery, and it's excellent. My waitress (Leena?) was polite and efficient. The calamari was a basic and beautiful version of the Rhode Island staple: Perfectly fried. Tender. Hot peppers on the side. The linguini I ordered was cooked perfectly. The sauce was like the calamari - simple, basic, delicious. Te meatballs were nice. Unfortunately, the sausage was dry and bland. Still, The pizzas I saw looked amazing. I can't wait to bring my family here. This is what you want in a family restaurant. Good people. Good food. Affordable. Can't wait to go back.

The food here is great. I think the only reason we dont come here often is that the food takes forever. We waited today 45 min for our pizza and it was over cooked. There is only 2 other tables here and they are aleeady eating. Yhat was disappointing but not the normal experience here. The large pizza is huge and more than worth the $18. I will definitely be back but only when im patient enough to wait almost an hmmour for my pizza. The time is the only reason i gave it 3 stars instead of 4
I was introduced to this place years ago by three owners twin son John and we became regulars. Used to go here with my dad and wife Beth. It's a retro style pizza restaurant with juke box at every booth where you spin the pages. The pizza is great but my favorites include the chicken parm, lasagne and stuffed peppers all served with fresh sliced Italian bread. The best in Rhode island...I love it and there are plenty of memories built here as well. The best part is watching the twin sisters argue with each other behind the counter. Like watching the soup nazi but instead it's the pizza nazis. Lol Watch a show! Food:5. it's home cooked Service:4 Very friendly Atmosphere:4 It's outdated but I think that's what makes it feel like home My only complaint is the hand dryer needs to be replaced in the men's room. Get the accelerator or paper towels

Love Twins Pizza, we go here with the whole family (14) and sit in the back dining room. The pizza is fresh and always steaming hot. If your not having pizza then: Best dishes for me: -Eggplant -Agli-Olio w/anchivies -Meatball sub

I am currently heating up leftovers for lunch from Twin's. Last year I gave myself the challenge to try all the classic RI pizza joints to decide which was my favorite, and Twin's ended up the winner. Like all the other contenders, if you choose to eat in, you might be a little thrown off by which decade you're in. The place has not been updated, maybe ever, but that's not why you go to Twin's. It's all about the pizza. I have both eaten in and gotten take out, and both experiences leave me salivating for more, even when my stomach is full. One warning, it take forever to get your pizza - give yourself a least an hour from when you order, but that's because they cook to order and cook per your preference - medium, medium-well (my fav), well down. You're asking yourself, we're talking about pizza right, not meat? Yep, at Twin's, as well as many of the RI pizza joints, you get to choose how you would like your crust cooked. You also have to ask for cheese when you order.

White Hawaiian pizza was served dry and have little to no cheese. Not a fav for me and my friends. One wonders if they want to be stuck in 1960 or they are too cheap to fix the place up.

One of the best pizza places in RI. Have been going here for years.. They don't deliver and get VERY busy on the weekends, so be prepared. I haven't tried any of their other dishes, but did get a salad to start once and it was just ok. I think they focus a lot on the quality of their pizza, so your best bet is to just order that, you won't be disappointed. And definitely order your pizza well done, it's the only way to go!

Good pizza but skimpy on the cheese the only difference with extra cheese is the price still saw more sauce than cheese on top. Avoid the fish and chips fish was cooked to leather and fries were soggy. Tattooed biker hag at register couldn't have been any ruder to everyone in line.

I start off with four stars for the food, and take two stars off of the fact that they don't tell you that the soda refills are not free, and when you complain about it you are told it that's just the way it is. You end up with a bill that is $15 for the food for two people and seven dollars for four sodas. The sodas are not big to start with, even the large, and the waitress comes by and picks up the almost empty glass off the table and says "do you want another"? This is one of the few places left that charges for soda refills, and so they should let you know that that's what they're going to do. When we asked the waitress why they don't let you know, she said that her customers would look at her funny when she would mention it.

I'm just not feelin' it here anymore. I went on a Saturday around 8:30pm and was surprised at how dead the place was. The hostess tried to put us in the back room (it reminds me of a Knights of Columbus hall with mismatched chairs) so I asked to be relocated to the main room and she happily obliged. It's cool coming here as you know the place is a RI institution, but 5mins after ordering our food the mozzarella sticks came out (great!) but then it took over 30mins for our pizzas which made for a very long wait. Why the wait? We ordered two pizzas, both well-done, but aside from some black on the crust it was cooked like a pizza you would get anywhere else. The pizzas were fine enough but the toppings were light and at $20 for a large Twin's special I would expect a very special pie. Sadly, last night's experience makes me think that they're relying on their nostalgia to get people in the door and as there are many other delicious options for pizza in RI I'm not going to rush to come back anytime soon. I had pizza leftovers for lunch today and had to put on some extra sauce and cheese to make the pizza worth it. Sigh.

The pizza is great. This is just a heads up or a reminder that they CHARGE for REFILLS on soda.

You should know I only eat two items here, the bacon & onion pizza well done with a side of sweet potato fries. Years ago a friend turned me on to the bacon & onion pizza at first I was not a believer but after a few bites I was hooked! I enjoy it crispy so the well done tip hits the spot. Twin's is busy, calling in my pizza at least 15 min ahead of time for when I get to the restaurant to eat in is a must. It is a outdated, family style type atmosphere. Nothing fancy here but the pizza speaks for itself.

In a State full of good pizza places Twins is one of the best... my wife and drive as ways to enjoy this place... inside is out dated but the food is original RI

The pizza was good but the guy taking my order was really rude. Seriously, who says "what do you want" to a customer? Nothing worse than ordering takeout from a person with a lousy attitude

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. I did not like the pizza. Maybe the people that eat here are just creature of habits. The one thing I did not like on the pizza was the sauce. The place needs a major face-lift as well, it's so outdated it's looking dingy. The ceiling roof overhead near us was dripping on the lady's back. No I didn't say anything. I have had better pizza so I will not be back

I came here once for a meeting and tried the pizza, it was pretty good. I like how they cut the pieces into squares and it seems like a very family oriented place to go. The place had alot of families there when i went and you can tell there were alot of regulars that came in, that is a good indication that this place keeps people coming back! Pizza was delicious but was a bit underseasoned but i added a bit of pepper flakes and other spices and it was even better. Coming here again soon...

I've come here a few times and walked away unimpressed. I didn't know burnt pizza was a thing, but burn it they do. Not once, but twice. Another time, I had to send my ravioli back for being under cooked. Service is good, though. There are a dozen better pizza places in RI.

I love Twin's Pizza. The atmosphere is 1970's but it's a great place. Their pizza is my very favorite! Prices are very reasonable and they do a booming take out business. The only unfortunate thing is they don't deliver. Although, that may be a good thing. If they did I'd be eating way too much pizza.

Hands down best pizza in Rhode Island! Great service too! Ordered a large one half was completely wrong, they made me a new pizza and credited our drinks. I was happy with them making me a new pizza, free drinks unexpected bonus.

The food is not that good here and it took 2 hours to make 4 pizza and they forget the kids and the pizza is not good

Best (non-wood grilled) pizza in RI. I am from California and the anemic crust I have eaten at other pizza places, since I have moved here, is awful. They have great pizza, they even ask you how you want it cooked! They use fresh mushrooms, which is something I find is hit or miss in RI. It is a low key restaurant with little jukeboxes at the tables. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Not sure why this business feels it is special enough to have two review pages up, but leaving my review here, too - I've been going here for years and both the quality of food has gone downhill and I am sick of the RUDE woman who has been there for a long time who works the take out counter. The last straw was when my pizza was made wrong tonight and when I politely stated it was, she berated me like a five year old at the dinner table saying I was lying about how I ordered my pizza. I will take my money elsewhere where the food is better, bathrooms are cleaner, and employees are glad to have your business instead of acting like they can behave however they want just because they've been around for a long time.

this is one of my favorite pizza joints. the pizza is consistently good .... as are the other options on their menu. the restaurant itself is very cool, retro, and clean. brings you back to when each table had their own jukebox. its truly an authentic pizza place that makes an AWESOME pizza! not too many places ask how you would like your pizza cooked. in fact .. this is the ONLY place that has ever asked me that. the wait staff is very friendly and nice. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Twins has been my favorite pizza since I was a kid and it's hasn't changed. My favorite is getting a large because it's the square pizza. Their sauce is always good and they ask how you want your pizza cooked. I'm not as close anymore, but whenever in the area will always stop and pick up some great pizza.

My friend and I hadn't been here before but heard the pizza was good and I will definitely be going back. Starting with the service - our waitress was so nice! Then came the food, we were starving so we ordered an appetizer. I wish I remembered what it was but I do remember that we were both blown away by it. Our waitress was amused since she's used to seeing people amazed by the food. When the pizza came - it was huge! The two of us ordered a medium. The slices are so big that we ate til we were stuffed there. Then we brought the leftovers back, and we each had basically a small pizza.

this is one of THE BEST pizzas i have had in a long time! its definitely in my top 5 pizza places ive been to no joke. after i moved to dc, the home of lackluster food in general, i really craved pizza, especially sicilian style. this place was great, i ordered a large pie with jalapeno, chicken, onion. my order was hot and ready. staff were courteous. the place seemed cleaned but i didnt eat there. the price: i paid around $22 which was not bad given the size . the toppings were ample, i gave some chicken to my cat because i had so much on my slices. the jalapeno, however, was all for me ;) i will DEFINITELY be back here when im in town :))

Always had a good pizza from twins - more expensive than chain pizza places but its for a good reason. The crust is New England style - a little less than an inch thick. Sauce is very good as well. Tends to get a litte busy at times and not open on Mondays. Also they tend to close mid-July for vacation so make a note on your calendars.

I was introduced to Twin's Pizza 20 years ago by my Husband. I always thought they were just OK until last night! My MIL was injured and when the server found that out she wrote a personal note on box wishing her well. They now have a loyal customer for life who will praise them to the skies!

After living in RI for nearly 20 years, I had yet to go to Caserta or Twin's Pizza. So I managed to go to both within a few weeks of each other. Twin's Pizza is excellent. The fact that you can order how you want your pizza cooked is very unique. I went medium well to keep the crust crispy but not too crispy. This is where Twin's separates itself from other pizza places. That crust is excellent. Another little taste of a local Italian/Pizza joint is the choice of a half pitcher of beer. This equals about 2 1/2 beers for 2 people, much cheaper than buying multiple beers. And who cannot love the little jukeboxes at the tables that actually work. A little kid behind me chose "We Built this City" by Starship. An excellent choice, but the best thing was the little kid was singing the lyrics. Those are some good parents to teach their kid the lyrics. All and all, I highly recomment Twin's for one of the best pizzas in RI.

I've had better pizza, but it's kind of a Rhode Island landmark, and worth going to say you've gone. You can order the pizza how you want it cooked, and they have a wide variety of toppings. Prices are decent, but all in all, it's pretty basic.
(3)

Twin's Pizza is my absolute favorite. The pizza is cooked perfectly. The crust is delicious, and the toppings are generous. Service is always great. We usually order for pick up, and it is so hard not to grab a slice before getting the pizza home!

Just good basic pizza! I love getting a plain or pepperoni cooked well done, it's so simple but amazingly delicious! Sometimes you don't want a fancy gourmet pizza with crazy toppings and when the craving for just good crispy cheese pizza hits I have to come to Twins. I just wish they were open later at night!

I have been eager to try this spot since my work relocated nearby and many people recommended it. So today, I decided to try it for lunch. This is definitely an old-school pizza parlor, and although it is totally dated, it is clean and comfortable. The juke boxes at each table a neat touch too. The service was prompt and friendly, and I LOVE that they take credit cards... As for the pizza, I would describe it as: hybrid deep-dish. The crust is thicker and flakier than normal New England pizzeria pies, and the toppings go right to the edge of the pie... There's no raised crust. That being said, the crust is less thick and dense than a Chicago style pie and Twin's is still very moist and tender. I am a bit of a crust guy, but I really liked this style too. It reminded me of the pizza at Town Spa in Stoughton, MA. The pizza's are quite big too. A Small (round) is more like a medium and the large (square) is an extra-large anywhere else. The pizza is very filling too: I can normally polish off a small myself, and I only got through half of it. Because of the larger sizes, they tend to be a bit pricier, but you'll take more home. You could tell that they took a lot of pride and attention to each pie too. Not only did you have to specify how you wanted it cooked, with or without cheese, sauce and toppings, but they were careful about how they placed the toppings. I ordered cheese and salami, and they placed the salami in such a way that each cut slice had exactly two pieces of salami and none were cut... I appreciated the attention to detail! Although I only ordered pizza, many other customers seemed to be enjoying pasta, salads and subs too. Here are a few suggestions: -If you like your crust crispy, order Well-Done. It is by no means burned and it will prevent a soupy center... -If you don't like a lot of sauce, order Light Sauce as they tend to use a bit more than most places... -Avoid too many different toppings on the same pie... This will cause a soupy center as well... -They are happy to do half/half with different topping combos -Be prepared to wait for your pie. They take longer to bake than a thinner crust pizza so call ahead if you are in a rush.

Pizza is thick crust and nicely toasted on the bottom. Spinach pies are a bit heavy on the dough and were ok. Cashier was chopping peppers behind the counter without gloves and was handling cash from customers without washing. Not a good sign. Interior is very old and dated with old paneling and decor.

I cannot believe I never reviewed this place. Okay, sure, the restaurant looks like it was designed by Mike Brady. But in an area that's teeming with generic Greek-style pizza, this place is very special. I just love the large, rectangle pizza... Well done, nice and crispy. I like it MUCH better than Caserta's, which works out for me because Twin's is closer. The wait for a pizza can be long, up to an hour for takeout, so call early.

I grew up a few blocks from this place and for me, it will always be the very best pizza in the world. I live in San Francisco now but nothing in SF rivals the perfection of Twins. Whenever I come home to RI to visit, I MUST have my Twins pizza fix. The thing that I marvel at is that it is always consistent. I've never had a bad pizza or had cause to say that these folks had a bad night or something. Since I was a kid, the pizza has maintained the same excellent quality and taste. AMAZING.

Every one knows thin crust NYC style pizza, and deep dish Chicago style. Or even the lesser know Greek style: soggy, and some where in the middle of thin and deep dish, and usually awful. But the unsung delicious hero of the pizza world is the R.I. style pizza. A classic example of mind blowing R.I. style pizza is Twins Pizza. Their pizza has a fluffy inch thick crust, with a crispy bottom and if your order your pizza well done (you should) you'll have a perfect pencil thin crust ring. You can also order you pizza extra saucy (you should) Weather you go all out with the toppings, or you go with pepperoni, drowned in grated cheese like me, after you eat here you'll be forever caught in the classic R.I. pizza debate between Twin's or Caserta's. But for me that would be like choosing your favorite child

Went to Twin's on my first date with my bf, so this place has some sentimental value for me. I have been back many times since, and every time has been delightful. I have gone to Twin's solely for Pizza, which has always been delicious. They have tons of toppings choices, and the crust is always perfect. I have also stopped in for family dinners, which have been great! The portions are generous, and the food is tasty. The service is always pleasant and fast. It definitely has that family owned feel to it. If you are looking for a good pizza joint in RI, Twin's is your place!

My review isn't based on nostalgia, but on quality, taste, and service. TWIN 's Pizza serves typical, middle of the road, greasy pizza. It's better than junk like Domino's, Ronzio, or (yuck) Golden Crust, but not by a large margin.

This is the best Pizza period. Casertas Pizza always gets the hype. I went there a few weeks ago and it was terrible. Twins Pizza blows it away in every way: taste, crust, sauce, toppings and cheese. No contest IMO. You can eat in or do take out. I've got all my friends hooked on Twins now. If you've never had Twins Pizza, try it and you'll know what we're all talking about below. A+

Been coming here since i was tiny. Jukeboxes were always a fun way to annoy my parents. I feel a lot of their food is frozen, but its overlooked by highlights such as amazing sauce, and good crust. Their pasta is always cooked overdone for my personal taste, but the sauce still makes it worth it. Tables are fairly sticky, but service is quick and mostly friendly. I say 3, because it is, A-OK, as the rating suggests. Nothing out of this world, but the prices are good, and i have a deep affinity for their eggplant anything. The eggplant along almost bumps them to a 4. How do they get it so thin and yummy....

This is as good as it gets for pizza. My favorite pizza! I love the thickness of the crust, the sauce, the slightly greasy cheese & cooked medium. The pizza does take a while to cook, 20-30 minutes at least. They have other italian style food too. My mom does love the eggplant parm, but other than that I don't know much about their other food because I can never get passed the pizza. It can get a little crazy in there on a busy night, just try to get there early if you're hungry.
(5)
Danielle W.
I'm not really sure what all of the hype is about this place. The only and only time I went there, my friend and I ordered a regular cheese pizza to go and it wasn't anything to write home about. I've definitely had MUCH better pizza.

I have only had take out pizza from here. The large is rectangular like Tommy's or Caserta's. Get the Twin's Special pie and order it well done. It was kind of expensive, I think my pie was around $22. When I called they said it would be ready in 25 min. It took me about 40 min to get there and it still wasn't done. The place was empty. I went during a non-peak time, like 2pm on a Sunday or something. That being said, the pizza kicks ass.

Excellent pizza Excellent!. A large is MORE than enough for two people. I had a lot of leftovers. You pretty much can not go wrong with the different topping its that crust! It's crispy and the whole thing just oozes goodness with every bite..I am definitely coming here again.
(4)
Christa M.
This pizza is truly in a class of its own. Order the large, rectangular size though. For some reason, the circular style just doesn't taste the same. All of the food is good here - Twin's never disappoints!

Nothing fancy.....just good pizza.... My favorite in Rhode Island. Sauce is the best!! However, I can't recommend any of the dinners.

This is some delicious pizza. I prefer the square-cut slices on the large pizza to the traditional triangular slices on the small pie, but either way it is good. The crust is moist and doughy; the cheese becomes pocked with delicious burn spots and crisp edges like a more-delectable burn victim; the sauce isn't too sweet. I love it! I also love that they bring bread before the pizza comes. I know, I know, bread to precede more bread is probably unnecessary, and it isn't as if the bread basket is brimming with artisan loaves, but it reflects a charming hospitality. The ambiance here is family-style, with wood paneled walls and cushy booths outfitted with non-functional jukeboxes in the front room. Expect to see an inter-generational crowd here, and expect to leave so full you want to keel over.

Food is excellent but is getting very expensive.. $20.00 for a large cheese pizza?? I'll go to Bills down the road.

Years ago, for special occasions, my parents would often take my sister, and later on my bro and myself, out for a fun meal. One of the first places my parents went to in the U.S. when they first came to America from India is Twin's Pizza and Family Restaurant, which is pretty much regarded now as a Rhode Island institution. Twin's was around forty years ago, and for good reason, it still exists and is thriving today. These days, my mom rarely dines out, but every now and then, she will call me requesting a night out on the town. Of course, the only restaurant she ever wants to go to is still Twin's, her and my family's favorite pizza restaurant. This past Saturday night, she made one of those rare calls, inviting my husband, sister, nephews and I out to Twin's for some pizza and good family times! There's just something special about this place- it's a casual eatery featuring traditional Italian favorites like chicken parm and pastas plus pizza to die for. It's one of those places you love going back to over and over again because it feels like home. Even my brother out in Washington D.C. felt a bit sad he couldn't come with us that night since Twin's signifies amazing Italian comfort food always enjoyed with family. Writing this recap for me is interesting because due to my vegan and low-gluten ways, this was the first time I couldn't stuff myself silly with their amazing thick pizza, which I guess you can describe as almost Sicilian style. However my memories are strong, and for those of you who enjoy incredible thick crust pizza, I know for a fact, due to years of consumption, it is absolutely fantastic. The crust is crunchy and doughy, and has the strength to hold as many toppings and as much cheese as you dare to put on. The large is so huge they actually serve it on two separate square pizza trays! The tomato sauce is perfect, with a nice balance of chunky tomato bits and actual sauce. I honestly was so sad I couldn't indulge, but I was happy for those in my family who were! Bottom line- just trust me on this one when it comes to pizza- it is of the best in Rhode Island, and though I couldn't have any, my sister, husband and mom enjoyed it and gave me their word that it is just as good as it was when I did eat it! I guess I should move on to food I actually ate, right? Well before that, let me note just how old school this place is- they still have individual tableside jukeboxes in which a quarter will get you two songs! You better believe my little nephew Om took advantage of this new-to-him phenomenon! My family ordered the following: mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce, garlic bread, a large pizza with green peppers and onions, a large pizza with all kinds of meats, a veal parm sandwich, and we were even given complimentary Italian bread with butter to start! I didn't participate in that food fest, and unfortunately, as a vegan who tries to avoid gluten, my options were pretty limited. All the pizzas are off limits due to gluten, as well as the pastas and sandwiches, since no gluten-free substitutions were available. Honestly, I wasn't expecting gluten-free alternatives to exist, because like I said, this place is pretty old school in its menu offerings. I ended up ordering a large tossed salad with oil and vinegar on the side and sweet potato fries. It took a really long time for the food to come out, which was a bit disappointing since we were all so hungry! Let's start with my salad- while it wasn't anything at all note-worthy (just lots of lettuce, red onion, tomato and green peppers)- it was enormous! I didn't realize the large was meant to be shared by the whole table! Needless to say, I didn't finish it despite the fact it was mostly just lettuce. The salad I have to say was quite mediocre, but people don't come to Twin's for salad, so what can you expect I guess? Now for my sweet potato fries- my expectations were beyond exceeded! First, I thought I would get a pile of pretty standard sweet potato fries. Instead, I was given a mound of sweet potato fry chips! In other words, they fries were actually thin rounds of sweet potatoes fried like french fries, so that the outsides were crispy and the insides nice and soft! They definitely earned a spot in my top five as far as sweet potato fries in Rhode Island! As you can see, there's not much at Twin's Pizza for eaters like me who are vegan and avoid gluten, and given those restrictions, I probably would not choose to eat there by myself. However, for vegetarians who eat dairy and gluten, and for those who enjoy meat, Twin's is a gem. I was a tad envious of my dining companions for feasting on food I know from my youth is quite delicious. I highly recommend Twin's if you want a top-notch Rhode Island pizza, but definitely don't recommend it for vegans or those who avoid gluten as options then are limited.

The best pizza ever. Period. Get it well done and order a side of sweet potato fries. You will be one happy camper and it won't break the bank either. It's pretty old school inside but the kitschy decor just makes it homey and comfortable. Love it.

Food is over priced but good. Definetly not the best tho! Basic plain yet expensive food. Some waitstaff not particularly friendly. I like when they accidentally burn my pizza and don't tell me until I ask what happened to it, due to the long wait time.

I grew up in Lincoln and ordering out from here would always be a very special treat growing up. Now that I live in Seattle I was very excited when I visited them last month that we would stop by and get some pizza at Twin's. We always get the large pepperoni pizza. It is amazing and I love the square style. I would recommend coming here to any and everyone.

This is one of two pizza places in Rhode Island that I frequent. And while they both have their merits, Twin's is good for solid, "Sicilian" pizza with a delicious sauce, the right cheese and the perfectly baked crust (medium, rare, or well-done). I always get mine medium - a little crispy but with some chew in the middle. They have a good beer selection, at the right price. Their entrees are on point and the make a mean grinder. The restaurant is a throw back to the 50s, which I love. It's like time hasn't touched this pizza place and though the Claw (the robot arm game) has changed to some electronic version, it's where my family has always come for takeout and eat-in pizza. And it's great.

I've dined out several times in the last two weeks and have to say that my dinner at Twins Pizza was by far the best, most comforting and most reasonable. We started off with a plate of meatballs, sausage, chicken parmesan and pasta. That was enough for three of us to share and then we finished off with a large bacon and onion pizza - well done. I'm glad we got the large because it was big enough to get us all a couple of slices for lunch the next day. I've been going to Twins for years and I'm still a fan!

what can you say about a pizza place that asks you if you want it rare, medium, or well done? they have a lovely sauce, seems to have a bit of a wine taste to it. I am not wild about other entrees, service is quick and fairly friendly.

Have not been to Twin's in a very long time. Lived out of state for a while, so when someone asked me to go there I said oh yes! What a disappointment. First, the waitress was handed menus by a "hostess"? not sure if that was her job. Waitress went to the back of the restaurant with the menus, and finally came back out to bring them to the table. Just handed them to me and walked off. Returned to the table in 2 minutes flat, chewing gum between her front teeth with mouth open asking something to drink? No welcome, hello - When she returned with the drinks, she asked ready? We said we would like few moments since there was a specials menu, daily specials menu and the regular menu. She returned again chewing gum with mouth open, asking ready? We were discussing the items on the specials menu and asked for a few more moments. When we were ready we could not find her. Mind you there where only 3 tables with customers in the main dining room. We ordered, and we waited and waited and waited over 40 minutes. A pizza and a hot grinder does not take that long? or does it? It looks as though the majority of employees are related. the conversation among them was interesting to say the least but not work related and no one paying close attention to the customers. Another table sat on the side of us and the waitress, same as ours, waited on them. She walked by us many times, never smiled never said your order will be right up - nothing - so after 45 minutes the person I was with said this is enough. We went to the counter and told the person at register we had two sodas and waited for food that never arrived. The waitress came up to the counter and said pizza is just coming out and they are working on the sandwich. The counter person said I am not charging you for 2 sodas. No one said sorry for the delay, nothing. However, as we turned to walk out the counter person said well the food has to cook - the waitress said well when they sat down they waited to order what more do they want? Memories shattered - prices a little on the high side for the pizza. Cannot comment on the food taste, or quality. Will not be returning anytime soon. I agree the place is out dated, but clean. Think management should take a good look at their relatives and see if they really should be dealing with people. Wait staff was in Twin's t-shirts that have seen better days. The clothing on our waitress and the "hostess" was not appealing - and the gum chewing! These are women not 16 year old kids. They have to be told not to chew gum but most especially with mouth open for customers to see? Gross! I wonder who wrote the previous reviews? Friends, relatives? They seem to have a lot of relatives working there so more than likely they had relatives write the reviews.

Love the jukeboxes on the tables. Love the waitresses who look and sound like they've been chainsmoking since about the age of twelve. Love that your options for pizza dough are "crispy or doughy". This place is A-Ok.

Well, I have to confess we have not had their pizza in years but, as I read the reviews I remember the great taste, even when they delivered to our high school. On occasion we used to get it when our son was young, now when we go in their food is so good and so Italian that is what we order. Every upscale, casual restaurant should learn how to cook spaghetti aiole, at Twins it is unbelievable, not to mention any parmagian item on their menu, not to forget the eggplant....Their food is fantastic. Since we are usually on our own when we go, we do sit at the bar, where everyone knows your name and even if they don't they are always friendly. The bar tenders know your drink (even if you haven't been back in months). Drinks are great but, the friendly atmosphere is great and as I say, their pizza is the best but, we just can't resist their italian food! OH those fish and chips are just the way they should be...

Best pizza in RI! Gotta order it well done though. This is not a quick dinner if you choose to eat there, prepare to wait 30 minutes after you are seated. Well worth it though, just have to plan accordingly.

One of the best pizza places in Providence. I'm really surprised I'm the first reviewer of this place; Twin's is always packed whenever I've picked up my order. The veggie pizza is incredible.

Classic old skool rhode island kickbutt pizza place, and so far the best I found here altogether. Wierd RI quirks, like ya gotta order it with cheese, and say how well done you want it, but this is the pizza my friends remember from way back, and I can see my kids will too. Restaurant itself is wierd 60s preserved in amber kinda place, may they never redecorate!

My family and I have been going to Twins for more than 40 years now, and when I say that NOTHING has changed, it really hasn't. The food, the ambiance (if you're a fan of Mad Men, you'll love this place) and I think some of the waitstaff has been there that long as well. That being said, it's about the food... In particular, the pizza. And I'll take it over any place in RI (and probably the world). Great sauce, perfect crust (I go with medium well) and toppings. So delicious. The crust is medium, not too thick, not that New York foolishness, just perfect. It's amazing. I go with cheese, pepperoni and olives, but whatever you get will be awesome. The meatball sandwiches are also fantastic, with some melted provolone cheese and that amazing sauce, oven toasted. The antipasto is great as well. Tips: The large pizza comes in two rectangular sheets, so if you want to have half something, you'll still have your own pie, basically. So have at it. Drinks don't have refills (it's not only the decor that's from the 60`s), so get a pitcher or half a pitcher if it's for one person. Parking is at a premium behind the restaurant, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. It's a legendary institution for a reason. Don't miss out.

This place is a time warp, for sure. Think 6th season Mad Men, minus the tawdry, fading glamour of the early sixties, plus atomic brass chandeliers and Joanne Fabric's entire stock of artificial flowers. The pizza is very standard RI, late night fare: prefab crust, lower-quality veg toppings, sweetish sauce. I will say that the pies are made with generous amounts of a decent cheese...it actually stretches when you grab a slice! We usually order ours well-done, which is the only way gets everything crispy/cooked/melty enough. Overall, the flavor is similar to Silver Lake Pizza (my throwback fave!), but not as tasty. Friendly staff, decent turnaround time for pick-up orders, and ambiance make Twin's a back-pocket option on those Saturday nights when nothing appeals and you just want something familiar.

Twins Pizza is by far my favorite pizza place in RI! I have gone their a lot and I have never been disappointed. Their crust is amazing, their sauce is amazing, everything is amazing. There is nothing I would change about it. Whenever I order from them I more often than not get a large pizza. Their large is a rectangle slice of heaven. You do have the option of how you want your pizza cooked; medium or well done. I go for the well done. The edges are a little burnt but nothing to worry about. I would strongly recommend Twins Pizza to anyone who loves good pizza.

We tried Twin's for pizza takeout one night. Pretty good pizza, but just a bit too thick and doughy for my liking. I'm glad that I tried it, but it is not my first choice for pizza night. We had the Hawaiian pizza and it was almost like the sauce was bit spicy too, which I was not expecting. The wings were really good though!

Went here today & actually went in to eat. Usually, we just get pizza as take-out from here. Menu has several traditional Italian options, ranging from sandwiches to full pasta dinners. Kids menu is small, but adequate. Prices are fair. Hubby got the chicken Parmesan; as he put it, "it was good, but not great." Interpretation: it was OK. My son got s steak sandwich. It actually had a small steak in it, not chipped steak meat. It was pretty good. I had an eggplant & cheese pizza...yummy! I ordered a small pizza...and took home more than half of it., even after my daughter pilfered a slice...lol! Speaking of her, she ordered the mozzarella stick kids meal. She was miffed it only came with 3 cheese sticks. And neither of my kids liked the fries...can't say I blame them there. We also ordered a jalapeño popper appetizer...ok, but tasted like it came from a box. Hubby got a chicken soup with his meal; he really like it & said it tasted homemade, Our server was a little neglectful when it came to refills & such. But, food arrived timely & hot, & she was fairly pleasant considering how much she was running around. Bottom line here, great place for pizza...ok place for Italian comfort food. I'll definitely be back...but I'll probably stick to the pizza

Ordered a spinach pie and large pepperoni pizza. Asked for "well done" on the pizza. It was still a little doughy...I can only imagine what it tastes like medium! Gah! The spinach pie's crust also seemed under cooked...almost had a biscuit texture. Not sure if I'll order again from here.

Twins is a North Providence staple. It has been around forever and the interior matches that. Although, I find it kind of charming. I know I don't have to get dressed up to go here and I am totally down with that. The waitresses are awesome and you can get a LITER of wine in a carafe. This has A LOT to do with why we go here. Food is good, I wouldn't say fantastic. But it is consistent and the portions are huge.

Decent pizza, though a bit on the thick side. Cheese is heavy, so be warned. I might try again, but will ask for extra sauce and light cheese. Very friendly and nice service.

I have passed by this pizza place for years decades even and for some reason I never stopped in. Finally one day I was in the neighborhood with people who live close they demanded the pizza and I acquiesced to their request. It is seldom that I am so pleasantly surprised. pan pizza perfectly crispy crust great sauce great toppings great cheese. The place itself was packed but still low-key family old-school. welcoming mediately. makes you feel at home. staff was friendly even the ones were a little salty still very friendly. They are a good group of people working really hard making products that they're proud of. More please.

Twins is a staple in North Providence. I think it's been around since we were founded. The inside of the restaurant hasn't been updated since the day they opened. Some may call it nostalgic, I just think that they're too cheap to update it. The few that actually come in typically sit in the bar area. Let's just say they're not North Providences finest. On most days the service is absolutely terrible. Expect that you will have less than great service. They don't even offer free refills. Who doesn't offer free refills in this day in age? The pizza in itself is absolutely fabulous. I typically get a large cheese and half pepperoni well done with extra sauce and order it for pickup. If you're going to order takeout make sure that you call at least 45 minutes before you plan on eating.

Not sure how this place has a 4 star yelp review. I ordered the ravioli appetizer. It was the frozen variety. The outside was ok but the stuffing was cold. Some areas of the stuffing was even still a little frozen. What was this? Must of been the frozen boxed ravioli... three pieces for $9... really???? Then comes the pizza. Ordered it well done and crispy. It was far from that. Had the consistency of bread. No crisp to it at all. The toppings were subpar. Canned olives. Canned mushrooms. The sausage was old and disgusting. Then I see a hair on the side of the pizza. Lost my appetite. Not sure why this place is so "popular" maybe because it's been around for ages like the workers in there. I'll go to my regular spot down the road.

An oldie but goodie. This place has been around as long as I can remember. I don't go there as often as I would like well it's kind of embarrassing but hey we are all friends here right ? I have no willpower. No stop button with their pizza. Last time I had it to go I ate three pieces on the ride home, had another three when I got home. Rested for an hour and ate three more. Ouch. So more details. The place is kind of stuck in the old days but it gives it some charm. I honestly don't care what a place looks like as long as the tables are clean and the food is good. They do a huge take out business but the dining room had no wait which was surprising for a Saturday. That is probabaly because it's a huge place with lots of seating. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our waitress was friendly and got us drinks quickly. I know the pizza is made to order so we got an appetizer.jalepeno poppers. Yummy. Deep fried cheesy goodness. Glad we got them since the pizza took a little while. It was worth the wait . We did cheese and pepperoni and olives. I'm not sure how they cook it but the crust is like something I've never had before. It's crispy like a thin crust but is actually kind of thick. The sauce was tangy with a dash of sweetness. There was a good amount of cheese and toppings. Generous even. I must be losing my mojo because I only had two pieces which made me sad. pricewise it's reasonable. We had a soda. Pizza. And an app for 20$ and there was pizza left over. If your looking for a great neighborhood pizza this is it. And yes they have other food but I always have pizza. Yummy.

First time visiting Twins. Several friends recommended the pizza. Reminded me of the traditional square pizza from PA. Ordered large pepperoni, sausage and banana peppers (well done). It was delicious and well priced. $20.00 not bad. We will come back.

We are a family of five and went on a Wednesday night. We were able to get a table right away, which was good because I heard it can be a wait here. The waitress was friendly enough and I do enjoy the nostalgic feel of a family pizza shop. No complaints there. We ordered a small special pizza which had cheese, mushrooms, olives, peppers, and pepperoni and also a large half cheese and half garlic & mushroom pizza. The pizza was decent. Pretty good. I do wish there were more options like basil or spinach. Two of the kids ordered from the kids menu. My three year old had ravioli, which she liked, and my 11 year old had some chicken fingers. The food is pretty good and reasonably priced. It's definitely somewhere I would try again.

Pizza to me always seemed like something that was pretty obviously good or bad. I guess I was wrong because clearly some people love this pizza. Unfortunately for me, I've given this pizza a few chances and have always thought it was not very good. Well tonight was the breaker for me. I once again found myself with some Twin's fans. After waiting 40 minutes for the large pie, we took it home. All I can say is this is some really, really terrible pizza. Even the Twin's fans said it was pretty bad. Sorry Twin's...I tried.

I don't know what it is about this place.... But we always have the greatest time here. It is affordable, fun, and delicious. And we always seem to belly laugh about something...maybe it's the wine...or the delicious pizza. Lastly...The service is always great and friendly.

Twin's Pizza has some great menu items such as delicious pizza, great spinach pies and BBQ chicken breast to name a few. However, they fall short with their meatballs and chickenparm.

I have been ordering from Twin's for years and years now. The pizza has always been a favorite and always delicious. However, I will say that the past few times I have ordered pizza from Twin's (2-3 times in about 5 months) I have been slightly upset about how the pizza seemed to have lessen in quality over the years. It's still delicious, don't get me wrong, but it's definitely not like how it used to be. My biggest annoyance with Twin's is the miserable service and poor attitude from the woman working at the register. Every single time I step foot in the restaurant and ask for my pizza that I'm picking up - the woman doesn't even crack a smile or give you a proper greeting whatsoever. Sorry but no one likes to be "greeted" by someone who is miserable every time you enter a restaurant.

I have no idea why clueless people come to this place. The food is bland. The management is a grouch and don't smile. They make you wait forever to get your order and it's not even cooked right. One of the owners scratches his private parts, while waiting for your pizza in the oven. Then he uses his unwashed hands to maker grinders and tops pizzas for other people. How sick is that? The place needs remodeling, since the 70's

Unique Pizza Joint Twin's has been around for decades and they have other locations but this one is the best. This is square pizza along the same lines as Tommy's Pizza or Caserta's. I think the best part about Twins is that they ask you how you want your pizza cooked upon order. Tip: Goto the bar in the back and look for Frankie on Friday night, he's the best. Grab a pepperoni pizza well done. Tasty sauce, crispy crust, and super fresh toppings. Value: A pizza will run you 10-15 bucks but you'll be full. With a few beers, the total bill with tip is about 30 bucks. A good value for two. Thanks

I read a lot of reviews on Twins website and they must be asking people to give them good reviews .I've been to a lot of restaurants and this place is Aweful .The twins girls who own the place are two very miserable people to deal with .

Every once in a while, I come back to try it again, since everyone in RI just raves about this place. I think that most people doing the raving, though, are folks that grew up with this place and have a soft spot in their hearts for it. I am not in this group. The pizza is too thick and doughy. You have to order it well done to have it even be slightly palatable. I really wished it were crunchier than even the well done version. The sauce is tasty but sweet, which some folks like -- I don't really. The Italian sub had some cold cuts and then mounds of onions and green peppers. Way too much. The fried squid was "ok" but a little chewy. Served with no marinara sauce, but came with a cup of hot yellow peppers that were tasty. For dessert, my guest ordered the cheesecake and I got the grapenut pudding. Both were not good at all. The cheesecake was dry and pasty, the topping too sweet. The pudding was rather tasteless, and it's a dish that I really love. It's too bad. Things I appreciate about this place: the casual family atmosphere, the rock bottom prices, and the juke boxes at the tables with hilarious misspellings of songs. However, my rating is based on the food, and quite honestly, I've had much better. Sorry, my dear RI staple. I'm just not a fan.

Grew up on this pizza, it is my favorite so I may be a bit bias..... Order the large whatever kind it is and always order well done ...... It can be very busy especially weekends so I always call well ahead for my take out a good 45 mins for well done pizza worth every minute of waiting

I am usually not a fan of deep-dish pizza, but this was head and shoulders above anything else I have had before. Delicious. It wasn't super deep...not quite Chicago style, but had more substance to the crust than the normal New York style. The sauce on it is sweet and powerful. The cheese gets perfectly burnt near the crust just enough to give you an added flavor dimension. It's an authentic pizza place. You won't go wrong here. They could improve on service (slow and not super attentive) and spruce up the place a bit. But you're there for the pizza and that's great.

I used tosay twins was the best pizza in Providence, and that was true untill this past weekend. Dont get me wrong, it tasted great, no complaints there, ithink the problem was getti my pizza "medium" Anyway, Im still bed ridden from the violent food poisoning I got from the pizza. No, I dont have a sensitive stomach, and no im not veg/vegan. Was reallypumped on eating this pizza while visiting (I bought 2 pizzas, even) Id say always get the pizza well done if xoure going for it, but this mightve ruined pizza for me :/

I hadn't been to twins in a year or two and unfortunately twins pizza has lost all it's charm, cleanliness, great service and good food. On arrival, the first thing me and my friend noticed was the dark environment, dirty tables and lack of joy or kindness in the hostess. While we get that it is a family restaurant, seating all the screaming babies in the front of the establishment instead of the area more closed off in the back isn't a great start. Next comes the waitress who had little knowledge of the menu when asked about simple ingredients. I ordered a Italian grinder and my friend ordered a black olive Pizza. I asked to only have a few ingredients and my friend asked for no sauce. During our wait for our food the manager came over to another table where she proceeded to embarrass a family for wanting to send back their spinach pie due to it being cold. She blamed them for not eating it quickly enough. Our food arrives and it is all wrong, the pizza has sauce, my grinder has all toppings on it and not anything I ordered and the nature's proceeds to tell me that she explained that everything came on the grinder and I ordered it wrong. Worst experience ever. Drinks are not free refills they are flat and the service is horrible let alone the food which tasted worse than McDonald's. NEVER WIll EAT HERE AGAIN!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!! Yuck!

The sauce is pretty good -for a largely Italian area I expect better. Weirdly enough, I really like their dough. The crust always comes out perfectly. I recommend ordering a pizza with extra sauce, light cheese to really bring out the flavor of the sauce and accentuate the crunchiness of the crust as if it were like fancy bread sticks. Will definitely order again, and guests seem to be a fan as well. Two large pizzas can easily feed 6 of my hungriest male friends.

Really good pizza. I get the Hawaiian all the time. Some of the pizza specials are really good too. However, sometimes the staff can be rude. I also ordered a pizza asking for Ricotta cheese. The person at the counter said they have ricotta cheese but not for pizza. How hard is to put a couple scoops of ricotta cheese on a pizza? I feel as though I would order there more often if they were a little flexible with their ingredients. I mean, they are an Italian restaurant and ricotta on pizza is not such a far-fetched pizza topping.

By far the best pizza I've ever had and I love pizza, Twin's has had me coming back for more for over 25 years. I'm not even sure what else they have on their menu. They are always busy, but if your in a rush you can call a head and order for dine in. Not to many places you can feed 4 for under $30.00

(Six!) star pizza, one star place. My grandparents have lived in North Providence their entire lives, and have always ordered from Twin's, which is right by their house. I've been eating it since I was a little kid, so there is certainly some nostalgia to it, but it is an objectively fantastic pizza joint. If you can, 100% do take-out over eat-in. The place is rotten and run-down, and the original owners no longer are in charge, or have passed on. Twin's is handed down through the generations, but the original recipes always stay the same, which is why the pizza is reliably good, but the restaurant stopped being kept up around 1974. The pizza is humongous and perfect, and is always gone instantly in our family. Just the smell of it makes me hungry! They are not okay with custom orders, and do not offer many variations on the pizza. I almost exclusively eat white pizza, but this seems to be an impossible task for them to accomplish, despite them having all the ingredients for it. Honestly, the grandkids are just idiots. Don't expect anything from them; my grandfather has been coming in and out of here since the 1960s, yet they still cannot recognize his face! If you desire a similar quality, but want to sit down and eat, try Fellini's or Fillipou's, or Cobblestones. Fillipou's is either a relative or competitor of Twins who broke off from the family business, so the restaurant is better, but the food is expectedly worse. Still good, though. If you just want amazing, stupendous, plain-old pizza, get it here! Sincerely, Twin's Customer Since Birth (or 2002, around)

This used to be the place to go for pizza but after tonight's visit we won't be making the trip again soon. The pizza was under done and ho-hum and the veal chewy, certainly overcooked. Not one staff member had a smile or a nice word including our server. Not at all what we remember. What a dissapointment. I hope the owner decides to step it up soon.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

This place used to be good, I'm not sure what happened. I have it 2 stars because of the memories from when I was a kid. Today we came for lunch and were sadly disappointed. We ordered a cheese pizza for my son, a meatball grinder for my fiancé and I got an Italian grinder heated. The pizza was tasteless and reminded me of Ellios frozen pizza. The Italian was cold and barely toasted and had some nasty Italian dressing instead of oil and vinegar, it had 4 pieces of really thick sliced ham that made for an awkward consistency. The meatball had 2 meatballs, was burned on top, and had so much bland tasteless sauce that it soaked the bread to the point of not being able to handle the thing after we sent it back because it wasn't heated the first time around, the meatballs were so spongy and were pretty nasty as well. So sad when places you ate at when you were a kid go downhill. I don't think we will be going back.

(5)J S.

(4)Kris D.
(4)Bob S.
In a State full of good pizza places Twins is one of the best... my wife and drive as ways to enjoy this place... inside is out dated but the food is original RI
(5)Ronald F.
4 stars just for the consistency alone. I have been coming here for years and its absolutely delicious, all the time.
(4)Swaggy P.
The pizza was good but the guy taking my order was really rude. Seriously, who says "what do you want" to a customer? Nothing worse than ordering takeout from a person with a lousy attitude
(3)Michelle D.
I have had better pizza so I will not be back
(2)Christine S.
(4)Mike P.
I've come here a few times and walked away unimpressed. I didn't know burnt pizza was a thing, but burn it they do. Not once, but twice. Another time, I had to send my ravioli back for being under cooked. Service is good, though. There are a dozen better pizza places in RI.
(2)Paula V.
(5)Stefanie C.
Hands down best pizza in Rhode Island! Great service too! Ordered a large one half was completely wrong, they made me a new pizza and credited our drinks. I was happy with them making me a new pizza, free drinks unexpected bonus.
(5)Ryan H.
The food is not that good here and it took 2 hours to make 4 pizza and they forget the kids and the pizza is not good
(1)Kameron S.
(4)Amanda R.
(1)Ed G.
this is one of my favorite pizza joints. the pizza is consistently good .... as are the other options on their menu. the restaurant itself is very cool, retro, and clean. brings you back to when each table had their own jukebox. its truly an authentic pizza place that makes an AWESOME pizza! not too many places ask how you would like your pizza cooked. in fact .. this is the ONLY place that has ever asked me that. the wait staff is very friendly and nice. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
(5)Dave C.
(5)JOHN P.
Pizza is hit or miss you have to order it well done I've been here and it's been great and other time just ok
(3)Rebecca C.
Love the pizza here! Best pizza around. Wish they had more salad choices.
(4)Katherine C.
(5)Paul W.
Hands-down one of the three best pizzas in the state! I always know when I've arrived I can smell onion in the air from the parking lot!
(4)Good E.
this is one of THE BEST pizzas i have had in a long time! its definitely in my top 5 pizza places ive been to no joke. after i moved to dc, the home of lackluster food in general, i really craved pizza, especially sicilian style. this place was great, i ordered a large pie with jalapeno, chicken, onion. my order was hot and ready. staff were courteous. the place seemed cleaned but i didnt eat there. the price: i paid around $22 which was not bad given the size . the toppings were ample, i gave some chicken to my cat because i had so much on my slices. the jalapeno, however, was all for me ;) i will DEFINITELY be back here when im in town :))
(5)Dorian W.
(5)Tim J.
Great pizza. Light and not greasy. Potato skins were a bit weak.
(4)Stacy B.

(5)Bob B.
bland pizza and terrible eggplant sandwich.....never again........uncle tony's is the best for this type of pan pizza
(1)Jenna C.
I've had better pizza, but it's kind of a Rhode Island landmark, and worth going to say you've gone. You can order the pizza how you want it cooked, and they have a wide variety of toppings. Prices are decent, but all in all, it's pretty basic.
(3)Renee L.
Twin's Pizza is my absolute favorite. The pizza is cooked perfectly. The crust is delicious, and the toppings are generous. Service is always great. We usually order for pick up, and it is so hard not to grab a slice before getting the pizza home!
(5)Jillian Q.
(4)Rob G.
(4)Ollie D.
(3)Jen S.
(5)Doreen B.
I love this place for there pizza! I always get mine well done. Wait staff is great and the bar tender is full of life.
(5)Jill T.
AMAZING.
(5)Stephanie K.
Been going here for years and they still make a great deep dish pizza. I drive 20mins just to pick up up a couple of pizza's for special occasions.
(4)Ran D.
(5)Aly K.
(4)Serge H.
My review isn't based on nostalgia, but on quality, taste, and service. TWIN 's Pizza serves typical, middle of the road, greasy pizza. It's better than junk like Domino's, Ronzio, or (yuck) Golden Crust, but not by a large margin.
(2)Jeremy B.
(5)Cassie B.
(3)M G.
(5)Danielle W.
I'm not really sure what all of the hype is about this place. The only and only time I went there, my friend and I ordered a regular cheese pizza to go and it wasn't anything to write home about. I've definitely had MUCH better pizza.
(2)Mark S.
(4)Lucy G.
Excellent pizza Excellent!. A large is MORE than enough for two people. I had a lot of leftovers. You pretty much can not go wrong with the different topping its that crust! It's crispy and the whole thing just oozes goodness with every bite..I am definitely coming here again.
(4)Christa M.
This pizza is truly in a class of its own. Order the large, rectangular size though. For some reason, the circular style just doesn't taste the same. All of the food is good here - Twin's never disappoints!
(5)Greg P.
Nothing fancy.....just good pizza.... My favorite in Rhode Island. Sauce is the best!! However, I can't recommend any of the dinners.
(5)Leslie P.
(5)Ronda J.
Food is excellent but is getting very expensive.. $20.00 for a large cheese pizza?? I'll go to Bills down the road.
(5)M L.
5*** for the pizza 4** for everything else. Get the Sicilian Pizza medium or well done. Much better than Caserta.
(5)Ami G.
(4)Laura T.
The best pizza ever. Period. Get it well done and order a side of sweet potato fries. You will be one happy camper and it won't break the bank either. It's pretty old school inside but the kitschy decor just makes it homey and comfortable. Love it.
(5)Kathy S.
Food is over priced but good. Definetly not the best tho! Basic plain yet expensive food. Some waitstaff not particularly friendly. I like when they accidentally burn my pizza and don't tell me until I ask what happened to it, due to the long wait time.
(1)Stephen D.
(5)Mindy S.
(4)J g.
(4)paula c.
what can you say about a pizza place that asks you if you want it rare, medium, or well done? they have a lovely sauce, seems to have a bit of a wine taste to it. I am not wild about other entrees, service is quick and fairly friendly.
(4)Marcy B.

Really good pizza. Missed it when I moved to Warwick

Love this place! Best pizza on earth!

Good food alot of food for the money

(4)Monica B.

(4)Camille M.
Decent pizza, though a bit on the thick side. Cheese is heavy, so be warned. I might try again, but will ask for extra sauce and light cheese. Very friendly and nice service.

It's been 5 years but OMG does it look and smell GREAT!!!!!! Can NOT wait to did in, RELAX & have a 2 second clean up!!! Twins IS back in MY house!!!!!! #LOVEMYPIZZA

Best pizza in RI in my opinion. There's nothing more to say about Twin's. Just excellent!
(5)Tyty S.

(1)Pamela L.
I don't know what it is about this place.... But we always have the greatest time here. It is affordable, fun, and delicious. And we always seem to belly laugh about something...maybe it's the wine...or the delicious pizza. Lastly...The service is always great and friendly.
(5)Dennis L.
The best Pizza in RI period! Love the baked fish with bread crumb topping also.
(5)Mike E.
Twin's Pizza has some great menu items such as delicious pizza, great spinach pies and BBQ chicken breast to name a few. However, they fall short with their meatballs and chickenparm.
(4)Mike N.
Normally we love this place but yesterday's experience was different. The service was really bad and the food took forever to get. I hope this is an isolated incident otherwise I will no longer return, sadly.

(3)George B.

Thanks
(3)Alan C.
I read a lot of reviews on Twins website and they must be asking people to give them good reviews .I've been to a lot of restaurants and this place is Aweful .The twins girls who own the place are two very miserable people to deal with .
(1)Andre B.
Been coming here for years and the quality has not gone down. Are go to is the large meatball, mushroom & eggplant pizza cooked well-done. Always cooked to perfection. Keep on doing what you do. Amazing how busy it gets and the service is top notch.

(2)Danielle R.
Grew up on this pizza, it is my favorite so I may be a bit bias..... Order the large whatever kind it is and always order well done ...... It can be very busy especially weekends so I always call well ahead for my take out a good 45 mins for well done pizza worth every minute of waiting
(5)Brian C.
(4)Tomjy F.
Was reallypumped on eating this pizza while visiting (I bought 2 pizzas, even) Id say always get the pizza well done if xoure going for it, but this mightve ruined pizza for me :/
(2)Charlene F.
All I can say is if you haven't had this pizza you are deprived! So crispy and gooey and delicious!
(5)Ben S.
Yuck!
(1)Sam O.
(4)Timothy M.
(3)Jillian D.
One of the best pizza places around I love when they have spaghetti pie as a special it is great
(5)Mike M.
By far the best pizza I've ever had and I love pizza, Twin's has had me coming back for more for over 25 years. I'm not even sure what else they have on their menu. They are always busy, but if your in a rush you can call a head and order for dine in. Not to many places you can feed 4 for under $30.00
(5)Suzanne W.
The best pizza!! Honestly, it's perfect. Just the right combo of sauce cheese and crunchy crust! I am from RI but live closer to Boston. Honestly. Nothing in MA compares!
(5)Lola L.
(4)Brian M.
Unbelievable pizza!! Back in town visiting family, twins never disappoints. Crust is awesome, pan style... Great seasoning- a must!
(5)Jess T.
